ICMJE’s Updated Recommendations Include Increased Emphasis on Transparency

The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) in December updated its “Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals” to include a greater emphasis on transparency.

According to a report by The Publication Plan, the updates encourage authors to “disclose a wider range of activities that are potentially relevant to their publications.”
