ICER’s Venable Focuses on Patient Engagement

Yvette Venable, the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review’s (ICER) vice president of patient engagement, is working to foster stronger collaboration between the organization and patient groups, Pharmaceutical Executive reports.

ICER as part of its mission to include the patient perspective in its review process launched a patient engagement program earlier this year.

“We can partner with the patient community, coach them and find out where we can collaborate and together work to improve the health care system,” Venable told Pharmaceutical Executive.
