The Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER) announced Wednesday, Dec. 5, that it was seeking nominations for its three independent evidence review groups.
Nominations are sought for all three of the following groups:
- The California Technology Assessment Forum (CTAF);
- The Midwest Comparative Effectiveness Public Advisory Council (Midwest CEPAC); and
- The New England Comparative Effectiveness Public Advisory Council (New England CEPAC).
According to a press release, nominations should be submitted to ICER on or before 5 p.m. EST Jan 15, 2019.
“These bodies are composed of leading clinicians, patient and public representatives, methodologists, and health economists,” ICER says in the release.
Each group meets three times each year to discuss publicly ICER evidence reports, hear from stakeholders and vote on the “strength of evidence on the effectiveness and value of new drugs, devices, and delivery system innovations.”
