The Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER) on Monday announced the election of three new members to its governance board.
New members serving on the board are:
- Tanisha Carino, Milken Institute’s FasterCures executive director;
- Mark Skinner, Institute for Policy Advancement CEO; and
- Anya Wallack, Brown University’s School of Public Health’s Center for Evidence Synthesis in Health associate director.
ICER President Steven Pearson says the trio will bolster institute’s efforts to “help Americans achieve sustainable access to high-value care.”
“We are thrilled to expand our board with leaders who have dedicated their careers to making the U.S. health care system work better for patients,” Pearson said in a statement. “They share with us the sense that ICER’s role as an independent, objective source of evidence review is critical to help support more transparent health care policy decisions.”
