The Institute for Clinical and Economic Review on Tuesday announced the departure of its chief science officer, Dan Ollendorf.
According to a press release, Ollendorf has accepted a position at the Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health at Tufts Medical Center. At the CEVR, Ollendorf will serve as the center’s director of value assessment and global health initiatives.
“Dan has been an extraordinary colleague and has been an integral part of every step of ICER’s evolution since we first launched over 10 years ago,” ICER President Steve Pearson said in a statement. “His leadership and wise counsel within ICER will be dearly missed.”
ICER has kicked off a nationwide search to replace Ollendorf, who is set to remain at the institute through September to “ensure a smooth transition.”
