OHE recently released a research paper exploring the factors most influential to the NICE decision making process. Their objectives where to identify the influence of cost-effectiveness and other factors on NICE decisions, and to investigate whether NICE’s decision making has changed over time. According to the authors, cost-effectiveness alone correctly predicted 82% of decisions. For more findings in this report, read here. (Source: Office of Health Economics, 11/21/13).
