The upcoming HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition, which is slated for Feb. 11-15, will focus on price transparency, data exchange and some key administrative barriers when it kicks off in Orlando, Florida.
On Monday, Feb. 11, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s Kari Hedges and ONC’s Thomas Novak will delve into how health information exchanges and payers can coordinate clinical trial data exchanges, according to a HealthPayerIntelligence report.
Blockchain technology will also be a focal point during the event, with Quest Diagnostics’ Jason O’Meara and Humana’s Kyle Culver detailing the Synaptic Health Alliance Initiative. The blockchain-centered coalition includes Humana, Quest Diagnostics and Aetna.
