HIMSS, ISPOR Partner to Bolster Membership Value

The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) and Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) have partnered in a bid to bolster value for each society’s members.
ISPOR and HIMSS, according to the announcement, are looking to collaborate on “benefits, services, and educational opportunities.”
“We are very pleased to announce the ISPOR/HIMSS partnership agreement,” ISPOR CEO Nancy Berg said. “We see the collaboration between our Societies as benefiting both organizations’ members and as a recognition of the integral roles that HEOR and healthcare IT play in improving healthcare for patients everywhere. We look forward to our first collaborative projects to take place in Europe.”
