Healthcare Business Transformation Consortium Launched to Promote Real-Time Analytics for Healthcare Management

SAP and Intel have partnered to launch the Healthcare Business Transformation Consortium (HBTC) to help healthcare systems implement real-time analytics into their decision-making. The use of real-time analytics was bolstered due to the COVID-19 epidemic, but 8 out of 10 healthcare systems reported negligible usage of the technology. The HBTC is a resource put together by healthcare leaders and includes a wealth of resources to propel real-time analytics.

According to Fierce Healthcare, “The assets include a Git Hub repository with help for creating self-service reports and requests, data transport routes, code sharing repositories, and more. Recently, the team from founding member Parkland Health and Hospital System shared an IT services analytic in the online portal that covered aspects of everyday hospital reporting and how the business is supported by IT.”
