Geisinger Launches AI-Powered Tool for Patients to Manage Healthcare Costs, Reports Monthly Savings of $52 per Patient

Geisinger has partnered with PayZen to offer patients an out-of-pocket payment tool. Payment plans, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), include zero-interest options. The tool is designed to ease financial strain resulting from medical expenses and leads to approximately $52 per month in savings for patients.

Geisinger Chief Revenue Officer Robert Dewar remarks, “Everything we do at Geisinger is done in an effort to make better health easier for our patients, members and communities,” adding, “This includes making it simpler to afford and pay medical bills with no-interest plans on friendly, customizable terms.
