“Enabling Stakeholders Who Support the Patient” Asembia 2021 Keynote Recap

The opportunities afforded by specialty pharmacy and telehealth for providers to improve patient care were the subject of the October 28th keynote sessions at Asembia 2021 in Las Vegas. The first session discussed telehealth adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic and impacted patient care. Emphasis was placed on the future of telehealth and barriers to access. The next session covered how prescribers use EHR data to support patient access to specialty pharmacy therapies, and how the complexity of navigating EHR complicates this process.

Improving the provider experience by equipping them with tools and support that simplifies the process not only enhances the patient experience, but also supports accelerating the patient’s speed to therapy.”
