Dr. Samantha Roberts Announced as New NICE Chief Executive

NICE has announced that Dr. Samantha Roberts, currently Managing Director for Health and Care at Legal and General, will take the role as the new Chief Executive of NICE. Roberts, who has two decades of experience in healthcare, will replace outgoing Chief Executive Dr. Gillian Leng.

Dr. Roberts said in a statement, “We are living through a golden age of medical innovation. So it is an enormous privilege to be asked to lead an organisation that has both such a proud history and a such a significant future role to play in bringing the best of this innovation into practice.”
