J.P. Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon says despite having the best health care system in the developed world, Americans continue to record some of the “worst outcomes,” CNBC reports.
Dimon made the comments on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”
“With health care, we have the best in the world — doctors, hospitals, pharma, you name it — but we also have some of the worst outcomes,” Dimon said. “Obesity, wellness programs that could work better, the opioid problem, 40 million uninsured. So you know, to me, you look at the whole issue and what should we do about it.”
Touching on the health care venture involving J.P. Morgan, Amazon and Berkshire Hathaway, Dimon says the partnership is for now working to hire a “great team.”
