Pharmacy Management Consultants Director Terry Cothran and Eisai Director of HEOR Russell Knoth during the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy's meeting in San Diego highlighted how trust and collaboration are key in developing value-based contracts.
Cothran during the event said despite the cost-saving potential of value-based contracts, the involved parties must work together and establish a foundation of trust.
Knoth echoed Cothran, adding that “trust is the most important currency to get an agreement in place.”
