CMMI Director Discusses Value-Based Care and Improving Health Equity

Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Director Liz Fowler discussed value-based payment models and improving existing healthcare models in a briefing held earlier this week. She also voiced her support for health equity.

Fowler remarked, “In my mind, I think we should look down the mandatory model line … but we need to move away from having a model for every episode and specialty group.” Read more here.
