October 19, 2021

Lark Health has announced $100 million in series D funding. The disease management startup uses artificial intelligence (AI) and healthcare analytics to reduce healthcare costs associated with chronic disease. The company plans to partner with health payers to provide management tools to patients.

According to CEO and Co-Founder Julia Hu, “On the technology side, we are going deeper and going wider. We’re expanding our capabilities to add additional disease states. We’ve also spent a lot of time with R&D training our AI to achieve clinical equivalency to live nurses, and this year, we’re expanding with our large health plan partners and investing in doing more integration with health plans so we can be their digital front door.” Read more here.
