Call for Papers: Essen Health Conference

The Essen Health Conference is seeking paper submissions, due by 28^th February 2022. The conference focuses on the intersection of health and socioeconomic outcomes, as well as labour and education economics. It will be hosted in Essen, Germany from 29^th-31^st May 2022. There is no registration fee and early career researchers are encouraged to submit their work.

According to EHC, suitable topics include the following.

• Early life health, education, and productivity
• Retirement and health capacity to work at older ages
• Health insurance and the labour market
• Mental health and employability
• Determinants and effects of absenteeism and presenteeism
• The effects of unemployment and downturns on health
• Structural modeling of labour market decisions and health
• Prescription drug use, mental health, education and labour market outcomes
• The effect of physical and mental health on educational attainment
