CADTH Cancels Symposium

In response to concerns about the coronavirus, CADTH announced it would cancel its upcoming symposium which was originally set for April in Toronto.

Brian O’Rourke, CADTH CEO and president, said in an email that organizers are considering transitioning some sessions to an online format.

“We are disappointed; the CADTH Symposium is an important annual event for the HTA community and we all benefit by gathering once a year to learn, share, and network,” he said in the email. “As an alternative to our in-person event, we’re exploring opportunities to present some of the great sessions we had planned for the 2020 CADTH Symposium via live stream and webinar.”
