Avoiding Medical Bankruptcy with Quizzify Prevent Consent Clause

November 25, 2021

Half of all Americans have outstanding medical debt, and the same number cannot afford a medical emergency. Bills for emergency medical care often incur 4-5 digit costs for payers or patients. However, according to Quizzify, including their 29-word “Prevent Consent” clause on your employees’ insurance cards can substantially reduce the cost of emergency care.

The clause states, “Superseding form consents, I consent to responsibility (including insurance) for up to 2 times Medicare following receipt of an itemized bill for appropriate treatment.”
