The American Society of Health Economists has issued a call for abstracts as it prepares for its 8th annual ASHEcon event June 23-26 in Washington.
According to ASHEcon, sessions and abstracts will be accepted for consideration through Nov. 26.
The theme for this year’s conference, The Crossroads of Public Policy and Health Economics, “aims to provide a forum for emerging ideas and empirical results of health economics research to be showcased and discussed.
ASHEcon is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in health economics research in the U.S. Health economics has emerged as a distinct and successful field in economics — a large community of researchers bringing theoretical and empirical insights based on the discipline of economics to policy-relevant issues in health care costs, outcomes, health behavior and health care delivery.
