AscellaHealth and University of Rhode Island (URI) College of Pharmacy have partnered to create the AscellaHealth Fellowship, a two-year program that offers advanced training in health economics and outcomes research for a Pharm.D. graduate.
The partnership is also offering a unique master’s degree program which will blend coursework with “real-world research projects and experimental learning with Ascella,” according to a press release.
“We’re thrilled to offer the AscellaHealth Fellowship and to work with such visionary colleagues to teach future pharmaceutical leaders to understand clinical, cost and quality of life outcomes as an essential aspect of pharmaceutical and policy decision-making,” URI College of Pharmacy Dean Paul Larrat said in a statement.
