Article Spotlights Virtual Component of ADAPTABLE Study

A recent Clinical Leader article spotlights how the ADAPTABLE study, which was launched in 2016 by PCORI and the Duke Clinical Research Institute, included virtual visits with patients.

“We liked the idea of approaching patients to participate in research studies where they live instead of requiring them to visit a clinic or hospital,” Dr. Schuyler Jones, co-principal investigator of the ADAPTABLE trial, told Clinical Leader. “We were also asking questions that could easily be answered from home.”
