A recent article published in Value in Health suggests that while value assessment frameworks are making advancements in accuracy, a number of issues prevent widespread adoption.
“Our investigation shows that the field of value assessment has advanced in most areas,” the author, the National Pharmaceutical Council’s Kimberly Westrich, said. ” … More progress is needed before the widespread adoption of frameworks for decision making. Users must be aware that these assessments have limitations, and wholesale adoption is not wise.”
