A Relentless Health Value podcast published Thursday features Pablo Graiver, CEO and founder of Antidote, a service which helps connect patients and clinical trials.
Graiver says despite improvements in technology, there are numerous complexities involved with clinical trials, including operational issues, data gathering and sharing, and finding the right candidates for studies.
Antidote features a tool in its platform, Graiver says, which gives researchers the ability to be transparent about how they will handle the data gathered during the trial.
And even though clinical trials appear to have seen little procedural improvements over time, Graiver says there has been development, even if it’s on a smaller scale.
“I think that clinical trials in a way, it may seem, that things are stagnated and nothing has changed much, but I think that’s not true,” Graiver says during the podcast. “When you actually look a little more carefully, there are many things that have changed and are changing … .”
