The announcement comes as the association prepares for the elections for each position, which are slated to kick off March 16 and last through May 14.
According to the announcement, the following are the candidates for each post:
- President-elect: Daniel Buffington, of Tampa, Florida, and Michael Hogue, of Gardendale, Alabama.
- Board of trustees: Sean Jeffery, of Branford, Connecticut will vie against Brian Hille, of Boise, Idaho; and Brandi Hamilton, of Bakersfield, California, will vie against Wendy Weber, of Bellevue, Nebraska.
- Honorary president: Dorothy Smith, of McLean, Virginia, is unopposed.
APhA members, according to the announcement, will have a chance to meet with the candidates at its upcoming meeting March 16-19 in Nashville.
