The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Foundation is slated to reveal the latest findings from its in-depth study of the main drivers of change among health systems.
The foundation will release the findings during its 8th annual Research Symposium set for 12:30-5:30 p.m. EST Oct. 22 in Orlando, Florida.
Preceding the launch of AMCP Nexus 2018, the symposium will focus on “identifying programs undertaken by stakeholders to address anticipated change, status of their implementation, and consequences of inaction.”
According to an email, some scholarships for the symposium are available for:
- Patient advocates and patient representatives;
- Employees of 501(c)3 organizations;
- Early-career practitioners, residents, fellows and student pharmacists; and
- Researchers, graduate students, clinicians, or other managed care/health care professionals who have an established commitment to placing research in practice and expanding health care literacy.
