AMCP Foundation Offering Oncology-Focused Internship

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Foundation, in partnership with Pfizer, announced a new managed care internship focused on oncology.
According to an email from the foundation, two interns will be assigned to a pharmacy benefit manager, health plan or specialty pharmacy.
“This program will give student pharmacists hands-on experience working with pharmacist preceptors and other members of the health care team in oncology, specialty pharmacy, or related business units,” the foundation said.
The deadline for applications is Feb. 12.
