Aetna announced plans to launch two new plan benefit designs aimed at addressing growing concerns by employers about high-deductible plans, Fierce Healthcare reports.
Aetna’s Justin Steinman, vice president and head of product solutions and management, tells Fierce Healthcare the Upfront Advantage and Flexible Five plans “really feels like a win-win for both the employer and the employee.”
“We’re hearing from employers loud and clear: ‘Give us some alternatives to high-deductible health plans,'” he said.
