The Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA), an organization exclusively dedicated to medical affairs professionals and the global medical science liaison (MSL) profession, announced today that it has partnered with the Pharma Collaboration for Transparent Medical Information, known as phactMI, a collaboration of pharmaceutical company Medical Information (MI) leaders.
“The ACMA is excited to partner with phactMI,” William Soliman, PhD, BCMAS, Executive Chair of the ACMA, said. “The partnership will help pharmaceutical companies further develop standards across medical affairs with the goal to provide a foundation of good medical information leading to better decisions for HCPs.”
The partnership with ACMA will make it easier for phactMI member companies to access the Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist Program (BCMAS) and other educational programs accredited by the ACMA.
“The partnership with ACMA will facilitate greater awareness of and access to industry medical information and provide our member companies additional value while achieving excellence in medical affairs” said, Patrick Reilly, CEO of phactMI.
