J.P. Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon reportedly discussed the bank’s health care venture with Amazon and Berkshire Hathaway with pharmaceutical executives over dinner Sunday night.
CNBC reports about 25 industry leaders were at the dinner, including representatives from Eli Lilly, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.
“We are not happy with health care costs and want to help,” Dimon reportedly said to the room.
The major health care venture, which was announced last year, has been deemed a potentially disruptive force. Including plans to deliver medical supplies to consumers, the partnership has also been dabbling in electronic medical records and telemedicine.
