Endpoints Webinar: How could an open access DNA-encoded library benefit your research? – Friday, August 4th

August 1, 2022

In an upcoming Endpoints webinar this Thursday, August 4th, Endpoints founder, Arsalan Arif, will sit down with Guansai Liu, Executive Director of Chemistry at Discovery Chemistry Unit, HitGen Inc. The two will talk about how Hitgen’s OpenDEL®3.0 can empower research by letting users experiment with DNA-encoded library (DEL) selection campaigns during drug development.

According to Endpoints, “Dr. Guansai Liu is Executive Director of Chemistry at Discovery Chemistry Unit, HitGen Inc. Liu performed his doctoral research on total synthesis of structurally-complex natural products under Professor Zhujun Yao’s guidance. After earned his Ph.D degree in organic chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2010, he then worked at Georgia State University as a post-doctoral research fellow, working on aminohydroxylations of olefins with non-precious metal catalysis. In November of 2013, Liu joined HitGen Inc. focusing on building and leading DNA-encoded chemical library platforms for early small-molecule drug discovery and optimization. He has published over 26 articles and papers in leading peer-reviewed journals such as J. Am. Soc. Chem., Org. Lett., etc..”
