Syneos Health Consulting has released the results of its 2022 Dealmakers’ Intentions Survey. The survey’s finding indicated that IPO markets and venture financing will benefit small companies over the upcoming year. The report predicts that the access to extra capital will allow smaller firms to lead dealmaking more strongly than large companies.
In a press report, Neel Patel of Syneos Health Consulting says, “The availability of capital and the roaring IPO markets are helping companies visualize the whole product development lifecycle. These dynamics are letting companies hold onto potentially risky assets longer, extracting more value in later-stage development and envisioning a commercial path either on their own or supported by new resourcing models. These new models include fully integrated partners with the agility and expertise to accelerate asset development.”
