2021 Virtual ISPOR Europe Presentations are Available from Cytel

Cytel is now offering slide decks for the presentations that its health economics and outcomes research and real-world evidence experts presented at the ISPOR Europe 2021 conference. Presentations include: “Transcatheter Versus Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement – a Real-World Comparison of Clinical Outcomes Based on a German Claims Dataset,” “Social Distancing and Trends in Influenza Hospitalization during the COVID-19 Outbreak: A Difference-in-Difference Analysis of German Claims DATA,” and more.

According to Cytel, they also have a presentation that details myocardial infarction mortality rates during the COVID-19 pandemic which hypothesized that, “COVID-19 lockdown measures led to later admission of myocardial infarction (MI) patients to hospitals and, consequently, higher average case severity and mortality. The aim of this study was to compare MI-associated mortality between COVID-19 lockdown and pre-COVID-19 periods.”
