Companies in all markets have ramped up their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts in recent years. According to Lacroix, “Millennials and Gen Zs are digital natives. They know how to build and energize relationships using digital platforms and have a wide social network at their fingertips. Gone are the days when you learned how to give a firm handshake while looking someone in the eye (although truth be told, that didn’t always translate cross-culturally, either). Knowing how different generations foster relationships is useful when seeking to stay relevant.”
