Is there a website where we can learn more?
Why did you start doing this?
I started making jewelry as a hobby last summer and decided to sell my pieces because I was getting a lot of interest. I’ve always been entrepreneurial at heart and so decided to start making new pieces as a part time pursuit. I named the company Regina Rox London (Regina is my middle name and I wanted a current alliterative second name) and it has been going well ever since. I take inspiration from my cultures – being of Ghanaian heritage I often go to Ghana and see the amazing glass beads ladies wear at special occasions such as weddings and church events and I loved the vivid colours and imagery. So I take a lot of inspiration from that – but I also mix elements of being born and raised in London to my pieces to give it an eclectic feel.
What makes you love doing this?
I like being creative and knowing that I have made something that someone likes. It’s definitely a world away from my day job and it’s a talking point among colleagues.
