President Donald Trump’s White House is planning to release a trove of proposals targeting high drug costs, according to an InsideHealthPolicy report.
The administration is planning to announce the proposals some time in April, Trump and Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said.
“We pay as a country so much more for drugs because of the drug lobbies, and other reasons, and the complexity of distribution, which is basically another term for saying, ‘How do we get more money?'” Trump said during a New Hampshire event.
