Acting Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Ned Sharpless during two recent events showed interest, according to a Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society, in keeping the agency on a similar path as former chief Scott Gottlieb.
Sharpless recently spoke at the Food and Drug Law Institute's conference in Washington and the Reagan Udall Foundation's meeting at Pew Charitable Trusts.
Directors of the Centers for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) and Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) also discussed at the Reagan Udall meeting their plans for the future, according to the report.
