SCOTUS Rules in Favor of Payers in Risk Corridors Case

The Supreme Court on Monday ruled that commercial health plans are owed billions of dollars under the Affordable Care Act’s risk corridor program, Healthcare Dive reports.
According to the report, the court reversed a 2018 decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
The case was filed by Moda Health, Maine Community Health Options, Land of Lincoln Mutual Insurance Co. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.
