Sanofi and Cegedim, a technology and services company, announced a new initiative aimed at bolstering health in Europe using real-world data, PharmTech reports.
Sanofi, according to the report, will gain access to Cegedmin’s health database, The Health Improvement Network, which includes data on millions of people across the globe.
“This historic collaboration with one of the global pharmaceutical industry’s leaders is proof of our European expertise on real world data and our ability to make it ‘actionable,'” Cegedim Chairman and CEO Jean-Claude Labrune said. “The depth and the history and robustness of the THIN data have led to more than 600 scientific articles.”
