Republicans and Democrats on a House Energy & Commerce Committee subcommittee recently criticized the Trump administration’s proposal to introduce step therapy into parts of Medicare, Modern Healthcare reports.
The proposal, committee members said, could threaten patient access to key drugs.
“It is not defensible in my view,” Rep. Anna Eshoo said. “I don’t know who supports this thing.”
