Despite having pushed pharmaceutical titan Pfizer to roll back price hikes that went into effect last week, President Donald Trump’s administration seemed to overlook the other pharma players raising prices.
According to a pharmaphorum report citing Bloomberg, ten other pharmaceutical companies deliver price increases on about 20 drugs around the same time as Pfizer.
Celgene, according to the report, raised the price of Revlimid, a cancer treatment, by five percent. The increase brought the total price of one capsule to $695.
One treatment reportedly implemented a 700 percent increase.
Novo Nordisk increase the prices of Levemir and Novolog by five percent. The drugmaker also increase Victoza’s price by roughly eight percent.
