Austin Frakt, director of the Partnered Evidence-Based Policy Resource Center at the V.A. Boston Healthcare System, in a recent article published on the New York Times considers evidence gathering on U.S. health policies.
In his write up, Frakt writes that there’s a weak evidence base for health policy.
“Evaluations of health policy have rarely been as rigorous as clinical trials,” he writes.
