U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar says Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) have produced underwhelming results, according to a report by Inside Health Policy.
Azar also said President Donald Trump’s White House will achieve more success on the front of value-based care than its predecessor.
According to the report, Health and Human Services hopes to give patients more control over their health data, as well as create a more transparent environment to deliver more useful information to patients.
