Article: Stop Putting All the Blame on PBMs

Jack Kemp Foundation’s Ike Brannon and DePaul University’s Tony LoSasso in a recent article published on Bloomberg Law say pinning the blame on pharmacy benefit managers is the wrong approach to solving the issue of high drug prices.

“Proposals to control high drug prices that focus on minimizing the impact of PBMs — as many currently do — ignore the nature of the market and risk further increasing drug expenses, which runs completely counter to their ostensible intent,” they write.
