According to a press release, teams of AMCP volunteer leaders and staff will meet with dozens of House and Senate offices to “advocate for two crucial issues” facing managed care pharmacy:
- Passage of the Pharmaceutical Information Exchange (PIE) Act of 2018; and
- Initiatives to reduce fraud, waste and abuse under the Medicare Part D program.
“AMCP works continuously on our profession’s behalf, and is cementing its reputation in Washington as the ‘go to’ organization for population health management and design of medication benefits,” AMCP said in a press release.
