My client is a major international Consultancy company with offices across the UK and globally. Due to continued growth, the position of Network Meta-Analysis (NMA) Statistician has arisen and the company is eager to appoint a well-qualified and experienced candidate to this key role asap.

To support the company’s mission to provide high quality, evidence-based projects for their clients, the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking and supervising multiple evidence synthesis projects, with a particular focus on Network Meta-Analysis. You will also provide strategic direction on broader projects, incorporating the highest quality statistical methodologies. Other tasks will include, providing general advice on appropriate methodology to different areas of the business, advising on the robustness of NMA models to guide model selection and assisting the development of training to Systematic Review and modelling teams.

Applicants must be familiar with current NMA methodology and ideally be educated to Master’s degree standard in Medical Statistics or a similar subject. Previous experience and expertise in statistics, (specifically applied Bayesian statistics), is very important and candidates who have worked in either consultancy or academia are welcomed to apply. In addition, knowledge of WinBUGS, Endnote® and RefMan is highly desirable.
