My client is a well-known Global pharma company, headquartered in Chicago. The Global Market Access & Pricing Director will be based within the Oncology business unit and take responsibility for leading the development and implementation of international Pricing / Reimbursement and Access strategy for the USA, Europe and other important global markets.
Specifically; the Director will co-ordinate pre-launch PR&A activities for a major Oncology asset, including generating global payer value propositions and ensuring that PR&A strategy is aligned with the company’s broader commercial strategy - ultimately aiming to secure optimal access and pricing across the target markets. As part of a matrix organisation, the Global Director will collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders including the Health Economics / HEOR team, Clinical, Medical, Marketing and Commercial Development units.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the role / value of Evidence Based Medicine, a high level of global payer knowledge and experience of incorporating Market Access and HEOR requirements into Phase II/III clinical development programs. A successful track record within senior Pricing and Market Access positions within Pharma and previous Oncology experience are essential and some knowledge of health economic modeling would be beneficial.
