The Cancer Support Community Research and Training Institute is looking to use data on cancer patients’ experience to change a payment paradigm which can be debilitating to the patient.
The institute uses patient perspective data through its Cancer Experience Registry to compiled data which could bring about that change.
According to Joanne Buzaglo, senior vice president of the institute, the some of the top concerns for patients include:
- eating and nutrition;
- remaining physically active;
- concerns about the future;
- feeling too tired; and
- having sleep problems.
